Ombretta Plos wins Women’s 50m breast-stroke title in Viareggio: 2011 Italian Grand Prix
Circolo Canottieri Aniene’s Ombretta Plos ousted her rivals in the evening session of the 2011 Italian Grand Prix, at Viareggio, Italy, on Saturday, November 19. Plos put up a good show and went on to clinch the Women’s 50m breast-stroke title.
Ombretta Plos of Circolo Canottieri Aniene put forward an amazing splash against her rivals in the swimming puddle and claimed gold medal in the Women’s 50m breast-stroke race by knocking the finishing divider in a winning time of 31.88 seconds. The effort
moved Ombretta Plos to top place in the national rankings of swimming.
Nicol Valentini of Aurelia Nuoto grabbed silver medal by claiming the finishing blockade in a winning time of 32.39 seconds. In the meantime, Elisa Antonelli of Gr. Nuoto Fiamme Gialle earned bronze medal in the respective race by touching the finishing
blockade in a mark of 32.43 seconds.
Centro Sportivo Esercito’s Chiara Boggiatto earned fourth place honours by thrashing the finishing fence in an impressive blot of 32.60 seconds. Meanwhile, Guilia De Ascentis of Circolo Canottieri Aniene gave her best attempt and produced attention grabbing
turns against her challengers in the respective race by banging the finishing blockade in a spot of 32.92 seconds to secure fifth position.
Sara Sanzari of Larus Nuoto smacked Manuela Sanzari of Larus Nuoto by hitting the finishing divider in a winning blot of 33.39 seconds to claim sixth position in the respective race, while Sanzari settled at seventh spot by clicking the finishing blockade
in a mark of 33.68 seconds, respectively. Last, but not the least, the eighth place went to Forum Sport Center’s Arianna Rubino after she touched the finishing wall and ended her swim in a time of 34.11 seconds.
The breathtaking swim of Ombretta Plos paid off as she went on to receive the gold medal in the respective race after the session’s completion. The 2011 Italian Grand Prix is a vital meet for young guns of Italy, as it is helping all athletes to enhance
