  1. Well, actually it does in a way make you smarter...not like boost your IQ, but you may do more well in school...

The Food and Drug Department way back when actually deems Omega 3 healthy (which is why u may see "contains omega 3" on some food).

Omega 3 is a fatty acid.  Omega 3 fatty acids reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.  People with certain circulatory problems, including varicose veins, benefit from fish oil, a source of Omega 3.  Fish oil stimulates blood flow, increases the breakdown of fibrin, which is active in scab formation, and even reduces blood pressure (reducing blood triglyceride levels, thus reducing a risk for heart attacks)

NOW WHY DOES IT 'MAKE YOU SMARTER?'

Ok, there is so much preliminary evidence that suggests that omega 3 fatty acids supplementation might be helpful in cases of depression.  Subsequently, one is able to concentrate more on important things, such as school.

So basically, it indirectly makes you smarter by alowing you to concentrate.

I strongly advise you to take some...just don't overdose because it has a strong negative impact as well...

    Hope I helped:-)

  2. It's not used for making you smarter. Omega 3 makes you more aware and more awake therefore you take in more information. It's also good for your vision, circulatory system, and heart.

  3. omega 3 can give you good memory.

for making anyone smart study, reading and learning from experience is the only way i know how!
