  1. wrestling is fake but wrestlers are great actors

  2. You were watching TNA. If you like wrestling WWE is on Mondays Tuesdays and Fridays

  3. the wrestling aspect is real, but the matches are predetermined; so the wrestlers know ahead of time who is going to win and who is going to lose. THe Storylines are also all scripted....the punches and kicks are fake, or sometimes given with little force...but the steel chair shots are real and the slams they take are all real, but they are professionally trained so that they know how to take the fall properly and so that they get hurt as little as possible...Hope that helped

  4. its fake

  5. wrestling is scripted, not fake. some of the stuff they do can really hurt. look up droz on wikipedia and it says he's a quadriplegic because of a botched move...so yeah, some of it is real.

  6. so.. whatever you're smoking..you need to stop.

  7. wow your retarded I've been watching this since I was 4 in 1997 and I thought it was the ****! Its awesome. no its not fake. They train for 3-5 years. Learn the moves. Learn how to deliver, take and sell (make it look real) moves.

  8. I thought everyone knew this, even though there are so many out there who put down wrestling...jerks.

The storyline and match outcomes are predetermined by a creative team.  The referee helps the stars in the ring by telling them ques for certain events in the course of the match.

Wrestling is very physical, and damaging to the competitors.  Most of them use pain killers due to the nature of this entertainment.  Wrestlers like Kurt Angle and Edge have already received neck fusion surgery for supposed career ending injuries.  Drozdov (Droz) is currently quadriplegic due to a neck injury sustained from an failed wrestling maneuver from D'lo Brown.

"Body Slam: The History of Pro Wrestling" explains it all quite well.  Check it out some time.

WWE (on USA, Sci-fi, and CW) is less risky than TNA (Spike) is, just because TNA is taking more of a risk for gain in ratings, and has made it pretty good so far, also with the recruitment of upcoming stars and classic stars.
