Okay, my friend made an AOL acount about 5months ago, and made it on the AOL.COM and clicked get a free email address, and just put in a fake House adress like 123 Road Ln (they didnt want to tell people the real one)

and put a fake phone number in (that could be real, i dont know?) but still my question is...

Is AOL still Free like it says on the Website?

and when my friend went to check there acount info it said billing plan like $00.01 so does that mean they pay a penny? they havent been charge yet from all the 5months to now? and its all a fake adress and stuff so they cant find out that stuff I know... so yea?

if it does cost a penny and they used a fake address, who does the penny go to? or is there really no penny?

  1. AOL is Free, if that's the one your friend signed up for. But the one penny, Call AOL or go online to AOL HELP and they can explain that.

I have free AOL and when I check my aol account, it states FREE with a balance of O.

  2. SInce AOL does provide internet access at a price, their system is set up to charge.  The free AOL email and instant messenger account that you got is in that same system.  There is no penny.  Don't waste another minute worrying about it.

  3. It's free, and even if it was not (even though I am 110 % sure it is) The penny would have no where to go and would be erased from the data base.
