I'm starting softball with my bestest friend EVER!!! I just bought a new glove, helmet, sliders, bat, cleats, and bag. And right now i'm alone and can't play catch or anything. What should I do?!?! It could involve softball or not. Oh ya... I should mention that I'm only 12, so no car. And, I can't go anywhere, and nobody can come over here. So.... what should I do to keep myself busy?

  1. I

    see

    that you

    are in a fix.

    Maybe a movie

    is just what you may

    need to get you through

this time of being all alone.

So check out the TV and see

what's on until Mom & Dad get home!

  2. Idk, do what you like to do. Maybe get some exercise.

  3. read a book

    surf internet

    watch tv

    go for a walk

    ride bike

    jump rope

    garden

    video games

    cook

    draw

    paint

    play dress up

  4. Well if you have any homework do that now so you don't have to worry about it over the weekend. If not maybe try baking something, its fun and you get to eat something afterwards. If you can't trust yourself in a kitchen by yourself or your mum won't let you then go on to youtube and watch something. Catch up on any series you have missed.

  5. got out side and throw the ball up in the air and catch it in your new glove, and wear your new cleats to break them in

    Good Luck and congrats

  6. Work the glove in.

New gloves sorta suck until you work them in.

  7. Break your glove in... you will need; shaving cream, rubber bands or string.  Rub ample amounts of shaving cream into the glove with your hand until all surfaces of your glove have a oily feel... then place the softball in the web of the glove... place a few rubber bands or twine around the glove to hold it's shape and let it sit overnight.

With your parents permission you could replace the softball with some newspaper balled up, and then using twine (no rubber band) to hold the shape, place it in a 200 degree oven for about an hour.  If you do this DO NOT SET THE OVEN ABOVE 200 degrees.... IF YOU DO THE TWINE OR NEWSPAPER COULD IGNITE GIVING YOU A BURNT GLOVE.

  8. I always used petroleum jelly to soften and break in my glove. Can you practice your batting skills in your yard?
