imagine that you're just around family. you're not shy around your family, are you? besides, if you show your true colors and what a great person you really are, you'll probably gain a lot of friends from it! if you're afraid of being put down for showing who you are, then that's those jerk's problem. not yours. if they can't handle your awesomeness, ignore them. they don't deserve it anyway. ;) in short, just don't be afraid, and go for it!!! Be Assertive and bold in who you are let people know that you are HERE not invisable.

Have confidence no matter what: know that your the s*** just because!

(but not so much that ur arragant)
