Omg pimple help! need pimple help! 10 pts for best answer!?

Question

my pimple was doing really good, until a couple of hours ago. i poked it with a needle because i thought it was an underground pimiple and i was trying to get the puss to make it a white head, i was wrong. only blood came out. i then put some toothpaste on it and now its really red and big. its not cause of the toothpaste but its from the needle. any ideas?!?!

Do not put toothpaste on a pimple - really it can burn your skin and nowhere on the tube does it say use for acne.

Try washing it with an acne wash and just letting it heal -

if you use acne cream it may dry it out -

it will take a few days (like any scab to heal)

Drink a lot of water and take a multi vitamin daily.

Ice, concealer, and an anti inflammatory cream like hydrocortizone.  and an antibacterial product like a spot treatment will help it heal.  I've learned the only pimple you can pop yourself and not get a totally red and cut up face are blackheads.

Don't poke yourself with needles!!!! Did you make sure the needle was CLEAN first? Clean the pimple out as best you can.. maybe you should use Neosporin instead of toothpaste.
