  1. Go Install/Uninstall programs.

    Remove it quickly!

Then put a complicated password that ONLY YOU KNOW

and she could never figure out.

  2. www.google.com

try googling it. go to start>control pannal>add/remove programs> (see what is on there and if you find like windows live family safety...thing.) and if you do just simply click "remove" beside it. problem solved! GL!

  3. As a parent, it is your mom's responsibility to know what you're doing.  You cannot get rid of it, yes she can do that...and if there is something on there she shouldn't see, you should have it taken away.

    Good for her!

  4. You can go to start, set programs access and defaults ... once your there you go to change or remove programs, then find the windows family thing and click remove program. That should do it. But even though she downloaded the program I don't think she can see your stuff...But delete it just to be on the safe side!

  5. how old are you? and how did you afford your own laptop? this is a link to answer all your questions about what it is

  6. How old are you is an important answer to know. I am sure you are not 18 and therefore still have to live by rules of your mom. Even is my daughter has her own laptop, she would have it checked by me.

http://get.live.com/familysafety/overvie...  You should be able to just go to your programs and delete it but I am sure it is PW protected and that is what you should do to your laptop, PW protect it.

  7. Just relax and stop doing things online your don't want your mom to see. I don't know how old you are, but I am guessing if you are posting in the teen area that you are a teen. Your mom is a good parent to monitor what you do online. She is only trying to keep you safe.

  8. Want your privacy I know how! I had the same problem. I made a seperate account on my computer that only I could access with a password I created. It keeps her out of yours and her in her owns

  9. STOP LOOK AT g*y BESTIALITY p**n AND YOU'LL BE FINE.

just open up the program and see what it is, it might anti virus or something.

  10. well what are you doing. But if you find the cd she used to install it you can uninstall it.

  11. Yes, she is your parent, so yes, she has every right to monitor your computer use.  And, Yea for her, good parenting.  It's nice to hear that a parent is doing the right thing.  Obviously you are doing something you should not be doing and need a little supervision.

  12. If she sees what? What are you doing on the internet?!? And yeah, she does have the right to do that. Shes your mom! :o)

  13. Why so peranoid? what site's do you go on pervert just don't visit sicko site's weirdo.

  14. until you reach the age of 18  your parents have the right to do that. anyone under the age of 18 can be monitored by a parent. and if its a silent parent program, you will not find it listed anywhere on your computer. good luck and be good

  15. oh ya... she can see  but maybe only the websites not EVERYTHING

  16. I am inpressed that you purchased a laptop with your own money. Good Job! However, I also monitor what my children get into on the internet. It's not that I don't trust them, I just don't trust the crazy people out there. I know that it sucks, but your mom is just looking out for you. If you didn't want your mom on your computer you should have made it password protected. Sorry, but I think you are stuck with it unless you can figure out her password.

  17. Yea there is. Where you put your favorites there's a little icon to the right that says "history" and she can see what site you saw from today to last year. You can press F1 and go to tools and press "erase history" but it erases everything and that's suspicious or you can go one-by-one and erase every thing. Good luck.

  18. HAHA that would suck if my mom did that. I'll prob have it taken away. Anyways do what NICK says

  19. Just dont use your computer for p**n lol.

  20. System restore imo

  21. It's this:

    http://safetycenter.spaces.live.com/

    It scans viruses.

    Epic fail.

Edit: And in the off chance that it IS a security scanner, then I'd like to say hello to your mom.

    HELLO!

  22. if you have bought it with your own money then she has no right. even if she bought it and gave it to you..i would explain this to her.
