Okay, whats a good way to feel calm right before an imporant exam; sorta as important as the SAT. Oh, and also whats a good way to relieve stress because of these exams??

I am only 14 (in a few months!!)

  1. be prepared.


  2. take deep breaths and try meditating or yoga. if you meditate, just imagine the stress or anger or nervousness glide out of you and put it in a box. then, imagine yourself setting the box on fire and watch your emotions burn away. it always makes me feel better, and no matter what the situation you can use this method to help you out. try it soon. i hope it helps you!

  4. study while u play like say u on computer play games stop and read few pages to study and when u can memorize everything  read 3  more times and make flash cards and u should do great

The best way to study is not to cram it all in at once, but gradually.  Like, if you have a week to study, study for 30 min. a day, and then the day b/f your exam, review for about an hour or two.  If you wait until the last minute, your brain will go haywire, and you won't remember anything! Good luck! Oh, and if you do it this way, you won't be stressed.  And, I wouldn't stay up late; try going to bed early, that way you are well rested.  And, also, just have fun with friends after studying to relieve stress!

  6. -Get some rest, do not stay up all night.  You don't want to take the exam tired

    -Analyze old tests so you know what to expect such as did the questions come from notes, lectures, or the book.

    -Stay relaxed

    -Don't panic and remain confident

    -Don't spend all your time working on one problem, you can come back to it later

    -Once you finish the test, do not dwell on past mistakes.  I recommend take a break after the test

  7. Ummm......eat before going to school. Be prepare. Don't be nervous it's just like taking a test in any of your classes. And don't rush. Just take your time and you'll feel better right after.   9. Hey, I'm 14 in a few months too.

    I just tell myself to calm down and I get a goodnight's sleep and trust me! You KNOW it, that's what you've been doing ALL year.
