I can't imagine what you are feeling.  We don't have earthquakes where I live.  I have been to southern California for work purposes a few times but luckily nothing happened then.

I hope there isn't too much damage and that everyone is fine.

CNN is reporting a few water main breaks but nothing serious yet.

That was a good size earthquake ....scarde the c**p  out of my kids...but like I tell them,better the little ones than one huge one.....but  I don't think 5.8 magnitude is considered small.

Our 10-gal aquarium was shaking so much I was sure the water would splash right out.

5.8 is moderate, I think.  They even felt it in Las Vegas!

Weird-- I tried to log on right before the quake, but my 'puter wouldn't cooperate.

Apparently the quake was reclassified as 5.2
