so my little neice, who is 3, just finished potty training and her mommy wanted to reward her with some pretty new undies. well when she was asked what kind she wanted she replied "the kind that go up my butt like linda's" (who is a little girl at her daycare)lol kids are so funny so we just blew it off. anyways so the other day we were at limited too and while looking around we saw a thong that was small enough for her! WTF are these people thinking. upon looking further out of curiosity we found pushup bras for, and i quote, "6 thru 8 year old girls". what do they even have to push up? it is people like these that make littlegirls have a distorted body image and a wrong view of what they should look like. then when we took my neice to daycare one day we saw a little girl, 4,(linda!) who was actually wearing those panties, and it was visibly noticeable. i was disgusted as to why anyone would let thier child wear that at 4 years old. its wrong. any opinions?

  1. I'm an avid thong wearer...but I'd be damned if I'd buy them for my daughter. I like them because ALL underwear go up my butt...so with thongs its just less fabric. When my daughter is old enough to buy her own undies then she can decide which she'd prefer to wear. Until then she can wear regular panties.

  2. OMG that IS wrong!!!  I won't even let my stepdaughter wear shorts that are too short or a dress without shorts under it because I'm too worried about her playing and accidentally showing the world her "business".  I cannot even begin to think why a person would put a 4 year old in a thong or a 6 year old in a push up bra!!!  What is wrong with this world today?  I don't think we should baby kids too much by any means...but come on, making them grow up THAT fast is a little ridiculous!  Guess I won't be shopping at Limited Too anymore!

  3. i completely agree thats just plain disguting

  4. that is NOTHING BUT WRONG....look at where the society is these days, obserd.

  5. That is so wrong! Why would anyone let their little girls look like that?! Some adults are trashy enough with all that stuff, why do people have to force that upon their little girls?!

  6. it is so wrong and i would hope you didnt premote the store by purcshing another item from them.

  7. I  agree with you why would any parent let their kids wear this stuff kids are too grownup as it is and pushing them to wear s**y stuff that they are too young for and it puts ideas in their head

  8. Yeah i remeber when i went to a shop i saw a whole lingerie area for 4 - 9 year olds. We're talking stockings, push up bras and thong sets. I was just speechless. I couldn't believe it. I cant see how these parents would even have the audacity to freely buy that c**p let alone dress there child in it. Whats a 4 year old need stockings for?! Disgusted

  9. that is not right

  10. No way. The way young girls dress nowadays is ridiculous. There are too many perverts around to let your girls run around dressed like that.

  11. That is disgusting!  Is this suppose to help the pedophiles they have out there that molest little children???  I can't believe they would sell these type of things.  I saw a little girl once when I was driving by wearing a little bikini and she posed in a questionable way when I drove by.  She seemed like she was about 5 or 6.  There is just too much provocative images in the stores and on television.

  12. Yeah, that is very wrong but these days you can find just about anything in all sizes. I've heard of GAP making stringed bikinis for girls as young as 12 MONTHS!

  13. i totally agree with u

    i hate steriotypes like that

its so wrong to teach a little girl THAT young what u should look like. wtf is wrong with ppl?

  14. Yeah. But stand by more to come in this nutty world.

  15. a thong for a 6 year old. well i guess that America really is $#%#$& up..good lord. its embarassing. im gonna move to a cave now

  16. i agree

  17. This is so disturbing on so many levels!

I say BOYCOTT Limited too, and all other stores and the manufacturers who sell and make these items!

  18. It is wrong and gross.  I completely agree with you.

  19. i think if anyone would even suggest my daughter (who is 5) wear underwear like that until she is like at least 15 i would probably smack them.

  20. My soon to be 18 year old will occasionally wear thong underwear and her 10 and 11 year old sisters think it's gross! Why can't we let our children be children?

  21. o wow.. but ya little girls start to look aolder than they actually are every day it jus isnt right

  22. WHO ON EARTH allowed these to be sellable??? AND WHAT IS THIS LITTLE GIRLS PARENTS DOING TO HER??? Thats just wrong!!! I cant belive this! I agree with you!

  23. that's very wrong there showing her the wrong idea of being a women at a young age some people just don't know what there thinking when it comes to raising children so therefore they shouldn't have any

  24. Just SOOOOOO wrong on so many levels!!!!!

  25. I wear thongs, but I'd be damned if I let my 6 year old daughter where them, h**l, I probably won't even let my 16 year old daughter wear them.  Obviously some parents are buying them for their daughters, I don't understand why they would want their daughters to grow up so fast.  I plan on keeping my girls little girls as long as possible.
