  1. i wouldn't say anything to them, seal clubbing's cruel but you can never change someone's opinions... i would just kill them back if they killed a seal.

  2. There's much more than seal clubbing going on. Watch part 1, 2, and 3 of this sometime:

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=...

  3. for leather and for there meat

  4. food clothing shelter

  5. Animal populations must be controlled.I'm not sure this is the best way, but i do believe in hunting and hunting rights.

  6. Well I sure wouldn't want to.  But Natives in Alaska need the meat to survive in the winter time.

  7. there are many people who have no feelings for Nature or for the animals that live in it

They kill for money but they must also like doing it ,they sell the fur which is very valuable ,

The real culprit are the people who buy the fur

because they create the climate for slaughter.

  8. They are valuable for their fur, but more importantly, their population needs to be managed.

  9. well, I suppose native people have eaten seals for years. Baby seals have soft white fur I think. But yeah, it is awful.

  10. maybe they want to use the bones and furs to construct a new nighttime hot spot:

    "club seal"

  11. the story of a seal that got oil on it

once a boy knew that he should go to the place that got oiled but his mom said no. but he went anyway and there he found a oil curved seal!  he washed him a little then he got it home and his mother saw it. she said that it should be check now so they went to the animal Doctor. he said that it should be take away for a some days. so took it away to clean the oil. he came back often to look at the seal. when  it was done they let it free.

so that's how it goes.  some times oil spills get on animals so if you find that needs help you can show it to a animal doctor and it'll be ok. some times they die from it.

  12. if it was a less attractive animal would you feel differently. a snake, turkey, warthog...well you get my point

  13. 1) Seal skin makes very good leather.

    2) Seal fur is very warm.

    3) Seal meat is tasty.

  14. The fur, to make seal flipper pie (yes they really do), and to "protect" fish stocks (seals pass worms to fish and vice versa).

If they were environmentally friendly the least they could do is feed the carcasses to starving polar bears.

  15. Don't know much about seals but i know a great @rse when i see one and baby you've got a great @rse

  16. If we don't kill the seals for food and fur, they will overpopulate and eat all the fish. When the fish are gone, all the other animals and birds that feed off the fish will die. So will the seals. Then the polar bears that eat seals will die because there are no more seals to eat. The goverment will then have to provide welfare to all the people that eat seals or lost their jobs clubbing seals, skinning seals, processing hides, sewing hides, their bookkeepers, sales persons, and any of the other thousands of people connected to the fur business, and that will raise your taxes. So save yourself some money by buying real fur coats and hats. You might even be responsible for saving the whole species by helping to control the population by buying furs.
