On 9/11 did civilians in nearby buildings die, when those collapsed, and did any die on the street?

I should imagine so, how would anyone believe three buildings would collapse, freefall, in under 12 seconds each! But hey ho, many people believe it was just the two planes, so yes, many were killed!

there was a good amount of time before they collapsed so i imagine anyone in the area would have put a good effort in putting distance between the buildings and them.
