On AC:WW How Do You Cross Breed Flowers?

Do you put them next to each other or what, and how long does it take?

You put the same kind of flower next to each other, but the have to be different colors. Like a red rose next to a white rose will make a pink rose. I can't really explain it, so take a look at this website! :D
