On Aus NRL footy show some years back Phil Cass magician did a trick that seemed to go wrong - what happened?

The show was in the early 2000s eg 2001, 2002 I think. Phil had an assistant lying on some vertical rod, and was spinning her around. All of a sudden she flinched and went limp, Phil's face went blank and they cut to a commercial. When they returned nothing was said about it. Any ideas what happened?

  1. The trick failed.  He didn't make Gus Gould disappear.

  3. The trick was to turn Gould straight but it didn't work.  "Once your wrist is broke it's always broke"  LOL
