I'm on my first round of Clomid (50mg) and ever since I ovulated (on Saturday), I have had abdominal cramping and sore nipples. The cramping almost feels like jabbing pains on each side of my ovaries. It's been 4 days and is continuing to happen! Anyone else experience this?? Thanks!

  1. Yes.  The pain is from your ovaries being enlarged from being stimulated.  It's normal.  However, it shouldn't go on for more than a few days, so if you're still uncomfortable, I would call the doctor and run it by him/her.

    Good luck.

  2. I also just completed my first round of 50mg clomid, and I had the same kind of pain! When I talked to my Dr. he said that it was perfectly normal and I just took motrin for the discomfort. Good luck!

  3. You've probably released more than one egg.  Normal ovulation can be painful.  Since your body is being induced to ovulate, you may be feeling the physical effects very intensely.  Call your doc asap.

May you celebrate Mother's Day with your newborn next year.

    Blessings.
