On DVD rw I've lost my data.?

Question

Three weeks ago, I started recording a four part programme from my television set,

The first and second recordings, to my blank DVD-RW disc, were perfect on play back, but the third recording seems to have somehow or other, wiped the first two programmes from my DVD!

Is there a free programme available, that will allow me to analyse and fix my DVD-RW disc and let me see if the first two recording are still there somewhere?

Your help will be most appreciated.

it must have been because of pirated CD

I know this software isn't free but it works well.  I had corrupt floppys and it got my files back most of them.  it also works for CDs DVDs harddrives everything.  Try it for free you will see what I mean.  40 bucks well spent
