On Friday i got braces that really hurt. Also I'm getting cuts from the braces what should i do?

but the wax over the sharp wires, but when i had that pain i just blew up my cheeks like a blow fish and dealt with it, i never used wax and now i never get cuts like other people who used wax did

Use the wax to cover the wires && keep ur mouth cut free && if it dont help go back for them to change it so u can b more comfortable, Ull eventually get used to them. Good Luck =)

I hear ya...the pain will settle down. and eventually your gums do get used to the wires. But ur dentist should have given you wax. What you can do is melt a bit of wax and mouuld it over the brackets that hurt you. Make sure u use mouth wash to healp them heal

Braces hurt tons on the first day. You should use some wax to keep the metal from cutting your teeth ( i never needed wax so i'm not sure how to use it). Take a Painkiller if you need to. Eat soft food. Don't kill yourself. You will get used to it after about a week or two.
