On Harvest Moon Ds, to marry a girl do i have to do all the heart events?

I want to mary Nami, but her black heart event is quite hard to do as seen as it has to be a rainy tuesday, do i HAVE to do all the heart events to eventually marry a girl?

im sorry but you do, my cousin and i  wanted her she could never get that rainy teusday. But then she finally got it.  Now im married to flora though. And dont forget after her black heart event give her gift until she has the next color heart then do that heart event it keeps on going.

Yes you do.  The best way to go about this is to take advantage of the game's randomization.  Save your game Sunday evening.  On Monday morning, check the weather.  If it isn't going to rain Tuesday, reload the save on Sunday and go back to bed.  Repeat this until you get rainy weather for Tuesday's forecast.
