On Hold!!!?

Hi,

i am fed up of people putting me on hold is there anyway of putting other people on hold from my house phone

Alot of modern phones have a hold button in them now. Next time you buy a phone, check to see if there is a hold button on the base/handset.

As a former hotel operator I just hated putting people on hold but was often forced to so I could rout the call to the appropriate party.

Now, as a consumer, when I am placed on hold, I don't hold it against the person who answers the other end.

Never did I think  that being placed on hold was being put into that..."black hold hole to be forgotten", until we started getting...

press 1 if you have an issue

press 2 if you don't

press 3 for customer service not realated to 1st or second option
