On July 22, 2008 at 10:35pm, anyone see sky light up very bright, Santa Barbara, California area?

On July 22, 2008 10:35pm the sky suddenly lit up very bright for about three or four seconds and looked like two explosions and sky became as bright as day or brighter and could be seen on the western horizon in the Santa Barbara, California area. Did anyone else see this?

nop soory i didnt see anything like that nor even heard, if there were any bright flashes or something in the outer soace NASA would surely report it. i have checked the article that date July 22 2008. but could'nt find anything. may be u just imagined it.

Could there have been a night launch from Vandenberg AFB?  (They often don't advertise their planned launches)
