On March 29th, is Earth hour. Are you really going to shut off all the electricity to prevent global warming?

On March 29, 2008, cities across Canada, and around the world will turn off their lights for Earth Hour, a WWF event to raise awareness about climate change and symbolize that, working together the people of the world can make a difference in the fight against climate change.

Are you going to do it?

I know I am. Even if you don't think global warming is actually true, just do it.

  3. no way. if I don't see the time on my alarm clock when I wake up, I'll lose my freaking mind before the day starts,

  4. I don't even know. My first reaction would be an overwhelming yes! but I know darn well that very very few others are gonna join in.

    If it's just the lights, h**l my lights are out already ;p I use very very little energy

  5. yes and i will go buy lots and lots of batteries, then recycle the battery's, and burn fire wood and coal to keep worm. i will not use electricity. then burn gas to drive the batteries to the recycle plant

  7. It's a nice idea...h**l, I'd do it for a week if I thought it would really change anyone's mind, but I'm afraid it's just not enough. Too little, too late.

  8. i think thats a good idea.. but yet we still have things that run on electricity.. like Fridges.. soo it would only help a little bit.. but i think its a great way to start!

    i live in USA.. soo i didnt hear about that

  9. Why would Canada be so against global warming, if I were Canadian I would be burning coal in my front yard and planting palm trees out back.
