On MeerKat Manor, why is Sean Astin no longer the narrator?

I am just watching the episodes I had taped and I think Stockard Channing is the new narrator? What a bummer for me personally. I really, really , really liked Sean Astin. I have not enjoyed the episodes like I usually have.. Thanks in advance for your comments

I was searching online and read that Sean Astin did an interview with a radio show and they replaced him with a women because they thought a womens voice would be more suitable for the show. Big Mistake to  me.
