On My BlackJack 2 Text Message Tone?

When i Get aText Message The Tone Plays and When I Open The Message It Keeps Playing and Wont Stop. How Do i Stop it When i open it?

something is wrong with that phone, mine will make the message tone when I receive the message, & that's it. It doesn't make a sound when I open the message, call customer service

Just try a shorter tone. That's what I did.
