I really can't express my frustration. I had given fathers name prefix as A.D. and these government people translated that to Abdul. How can they do that? This is really pathetic. I dont know what kind of pathetic people government employs for doing all these work. Atleast don't they have common sense how can a Non Muslim person have a Muslim Prefix? Now these people want to change people's religion.

  1. it can be changed when next elections would be held and they would enquire about your vote id

  2. You don't say where you registered to vote.  If you did so at a DMV (Driver's License) office or other social service office or library, these people are NOT voter registration officials!  They shuffle paper.  That's all they do.  In some cases (like my state) the DMV information is input directly into "our" voter registration system and then we have to correct their mistakes.

If you didn't register at a voter registration office, you really shouldn't blame them for someone else's data entry error.  Call your election registrar directly and ask them to correct the error.  I think you'll find them most eager to help.  Those of us in this business LIKE having our voter rolls correct--it leads to less problems on election day; when we're really, really busy!

  3. u can

  4. Rather than get upset, contact your voter's registration office and have it corrected.

  5. Call or write, if you are not in a hurry, voter's registration and they will instruct you.
