I have 3 coloums ( 2 small ones and 1 big one. 1s on left 1s on right and big one down middle.) The big one is empty. Can I add pictures?

You can simply drag things into that area to fill the space, or you can change page layout. There is a thing that lets you have pictures so you put that on the page and then add your pics to it.
