how do you get the tokens to buy the extra jerseys etc.?

somewhere in the game there is a challenge list it is like score a hat trick with a d-man etc etc and every time you do something  you get more tokens there is also mini games in there you can play  like I had to beat the 80's oilers with the 80's flyer's to unlock the 80's flyer's team in the team selection screen.
