On/Off Switch won't depress

Question

The On/Off Switch on my Ultimate G Kirby presses down and then sticks so that it won't power off... I finally pulled the plug, and now I plug it in and the vacuum won't come back on... the button won't go in or out when pressed. What could be the problem and do you have any suggestions?? PLEASE?! Is this something covered by the Warranty?
