I got Rome Total War, well... I don't know if this makes a difference but I've got Rome Total Realism Platinum and I want to put EVERYTHING up to maximum. There is an option for desynchronize animations. What does it do?

Also, there is an option for unit scale. How many men are in each unit scale?

  1. Desyncronize Animations (I will refer to it as DA for now) makes all the men do different things. Ever notice when a unit is all spread out, and they go to throw a spear? With DA they will do different things. Only the units in range will actually throw a spear. Without it, they all throw a spear at the same time. It is only cosmetic, and the damage is calculated by how many actually throw a spear. Turning it on will not affect how many actually throw the spear, only affect how many it looks like are chunking the toothpicks.

Not to sure on the unit scale.
