According to the Mayans, December 21, 2012.   Vaporized in a mushroom cloud from a nuclear bomb.  Am I scared?  No.  I might be then.

I don't  believe anyone can predict the end of the earth. Humans are destroying it at a rapid rate, and that saddens me.  As far as being scared, no I'm not. I know eventually I have to die. I just  hope and pray it's a quick painless death and that's all I ask for. As for the rest, we just have to wait and see.

I really dont know what it will be like on the day the world ends. I am a christian and as far as i know the bible doesn't mention anything about it except there will be a new heaven and a new earth. On the other hand I tend to stick to scientific evidence and since there is no proven  theories to when the world ends I guess it wont happen during my lifetime so I don't worry about it.

Unless the Mayans theory is correct and that the world will end Dec. 31, 2012. If thats the case  I pray I'll make it to heaven.

I'll scared if i know it's comming, everyone would be which would be a real social problem, and nothing if i don't, before or after the end.

Well, I believe in the Christian apocalypse as described in Revelations and various other parts of the Scripture. So, just study that if you want to know my perspective. I also believe the Christian apocalypse may very well coincide with the end of the Mayan calendar, as so far, the Biblical prophecies of "the End" have been fulfilling at an alarming rate, and very recently.

But in my own little fantasy world, it ends in a nuclear armageddon, like Mad Max. I already have all the stuff to survive a nuclear wasteland too, like geiger counter, food, anti-radiation medicine, first-aid, gas masks, the whole nine yards! BTW you guys are welcome over to my place once the bomb falls, but Bring Your Own Ammo.

Well, because the universe is forever expanding, there is more area to fill, with the same amount of atoms to fill it. As these atoms become stretched out, the univers will become colder and colder because of less friction between these atoms. By the time the universe is stretched so far the atoms will be so far apart that there will be no friction whatsoever, meaning no heat can be generated not even from the sun. When this happens all living life forms will freeze to death in another universal ice age, for the rest of time. No I am not scared

The world won't 'end'.  It may be hit by a meteor or comet, killing all human life.  It may be swallowed by the Sun when it becomes a red giant star.  It may be eaten by a giant mutant star goat.

However, it will not cease to exist.  Plus, I think we'll have colonized other worlds before Earth is rendered inhabitable.
