On UFC fights on cable, why don't they show the losers get carried off in a stretcher or whatever?

Or at least give a report as to the loser's health status. I'd like to know if the poor sap is okay. It would make the show better.

  1. It's all about publicity.  Several fighters have said(at clinics) that roughly half of the fighters from the pay-per-views end up in the hospital, usually for broken noses, or knockout issues.  UFC doesn't want the sport to continue to have the "barbaric" image that it used to, and so they don't want to show that the fighters are actually really hurt.

  2. UFC would need more time for the show, and time isn't cheap on TV. Most of the time, nothing serious happens. There's only been like 3 deaths (reported worldwide) in MMA.

  3. itll make bad publicity for the stooges

i know the mean of dean was out cold for 10 min

and those morons didnt  mention anything

    about him

  4. You're the only guy I that has ever said that.

The reason why, is that the loser usually is all right, and only got his butt whooped.

But they rather show the winner, and allow the winner to say thanks to all of his sponsors. ($)
