  1. sorry but if i don't know what animal you would like feed then i cannot tell you how to feed it.

  2. With the kind of food that they like?? For example, cats like cat food. Dogs like dog food. Birds like bird seed. It's all very self-explanatory.

  3. take the right food they like (most will want the meat found on other animals) and drag it onto them or i think you can click them so you see their portrait and then left click the food.

  4. whats a WOW?

  5. All animals will form a bond with you if they see you regularly providing food for them.... but petting is a different matter.... a pet is a wild animal that has been domesticated ... in other words they have learnt to live with humans ..... in some cases, wild animals will get so used to your presence when they get food that they will allow you to touch them without them attacking you - but that doesn't mean they have become your pet ....

A pet, really is a cat, dog, guinea pig, rabbit, tortoise, mouse, rat... these animals can form a reciprocal relationship with you whereby they recognise you as an individual and they become tame enough to trust that you will feed them and treat them well - therefore they will allow you to pet them and interract with you .....snakes, iguanas, spiders spiders and other similar animals do not have the same intelligence.... what they have learned is that you will feed thm - they have made no concession to you about you becoming their 'friend'  and so you can say 'my pet snake, spider, iguana etc, but really all they are is wild, regardless .... that's not to say an individual animal may not have a unique personality or behaviour trait - it's just that this will only last as long as their last meal - there is no 'memory' of creating a bond with you .....

  6. Drag and drop suitable food from your inventory onto them.

  7. Did u find an animal??  I did to and I feed it and now it is my outdoor pet  :)    please e-mail me at     lexi1294@yahoo.com

I have a lot of advice

    hope I helped :]

  8. Perhaps you should concider the difference between a "pet" and a "wild animal". Both dogs and bears will approach anyone holding out a free meal - but would you really want to hand feed a bear? The best most achieve is a birdfeeder and after awhile, the birds will allow you to watch them at a distance of about 10 feet. However, it's unlikely they will eat food out of your hand. Pigeons will do this because they are actually domesticated animals not living permenantly in cages.

The closest I ever came to feeding wild animals were the ducks and geese who would approach quite closely for bread. Mother ducks learned there was always seed under the birdfeeder and ducklings appeared on the back porch in the spring. Chimpmunks are quite tame if not directly approached and will scamper under your feet collecting spilled birdseed. Squirrles differ in their personalities and some will approach rather closely if offered food. However, never did I ever try and pet or even touch any of these creatures. One squirrel did get tame enough to hand feed, but it slipped once and grabbed my finger to stop falling off a chair. Squirrels have extremely sharp claws and one of them drew blood. I wasn't angry or mad though, because it really wasn't the squirrel's fault.

  9. ah... the cable company?  go to your local shelter.

  10. Feed them using your hand to hold the food.

  11. Just to let you know, you put this in Zoology. The "Video & Online Games" section would have gotten you better answers.

    How to Feed Your Pet

The Feed Pet icon looks like a bone-shaped doggie biscuit. In order to feed your pet you will need to learn the skill "Feed Pet". Feed Pet is a Beast Mastery skill that you gain when you complete the second part of the level 10 Hunter quests (usually called "Training the Beast"). It's very important that you do both parts of the level 10 Hunter quests before you tame a pet specifically so you learn Feed Pet. After you learn Feed Pet you can find it in your Spellbook on the Beast Mastery tab. The icon looks like a bone-shaped doggie biscuit.

You can feed your pet in one of two ways:

        * Click the Feed Pet skill and you will get a glowing hand cursor. (You can right-click to cancel this cursor if you change your mind.) Then click on an appropriate food item in your inventory or hot bar.

        * Or drag an appropriate food item from your inventory into the 3D world as if you were going to delete it, then click on either your pet's portrait or on your pet's body.

    What to Feed Your Pet

What's an appropriate food? Well, each family of pets will only eat certain types of food that fall within their diet. In addition, higher level pets will get picky and refuse to eat foods that are too far below their level. Let's look at diet first.

You can check your pet's diet by hovering over the green icon on the pet panel. There are six basic types of food: bread, cheese, fish, fruit, fungus, and meat. In addition, some pets will also eat raw fish and raw meat (although read the note below -- "raw" doesn't seem to mean what we normally think it means here). The game won't tell you directly what type of food each item is, although generally it's pretty easy to figure out: Bear Meat is meat, Slitherskin Mackerel is fish and so forth. For some more complex foods, like Jungle Stew, you may need to experiment -- just try to feed it to your pet and see if he eats it! There is no penalty for trying to feed your pet the wrong food.

You can check to see what kinds of foods your pet will eat by looking at the Pet Details panel and hovering over the green happy face on the upper left. (Note that this icon is always green -- it is only there to show what your pet will eat, not to show how happy your pet is!) Or you can use the hunter spell Beast Lore on your pet and then hover your mouse over the pet: the diet will display on the tooltip that pops up. Alternatively, since a pet's diet is determined by his family -- all wolves have the same diet, all sporebats have the same diet, and so on -- you can check this handy comparison table to see which families eat what.

    Food Level

Even if you have the right kind of food, your pet may refuse to eat it if the food is too low level. The level of the food also affects how much happiness your pet gains. (The happiness chart below has more details on that.) So in general, it's a good idea to use food that is close to or above the level of your pet.

Some UI addons will tell you the food's item level directly. But how do you know what level a food is? Well the game doesn't tell you that directly, but it will tell you what level the food requires to use. This requirement doesn't apply to pets -- pets can eat foods above their level, although they don't get any extra benefit from them. But generally speaking, the required level for a food is 10 levels less than the food's actual level -- so you can assume that a Smoked Talbuk Venison with a required level of 55 has an actual level of 65.

At very low levels this isn't quite exact, but for higher level foods it holds true quite well. If you want to know the levels of your food exactly, there are a number of UI addons that display that information, or you can check a WoW database site like Thottbot.
