  1. i believe i just heard on speed that the burnout competition will take place during their "pre-all-star race" coverage, which begins at 4pm ET.

the schedule i saw showed (just the afternoon part - i think there's a special windtunnel on early in the morning):

    4pm ET - pre-race w/pennzoil burnout competition

    then from nascar.com's homepage

7:30 pm ET - sprint showdown

    9pm ET - all-star race

    11pm ET - victory lane

[PS: how in the heck do you give a thumbs-down to a tv schedule note?]

[PPS: thanks, now i know - keep it up!!!]

  2. Good question.  I am looking at the Speed listings for the upcoming week and I don't see it either unless it is part of one of the specials and they just don't mention it.

  3. The burnout contest is on speed channel, Saturday the 17th at 4:00 pm. It will be part of the pre-race show for the all star race.

  4. It comes on right before the All-Star race,  on Speed"s pre-race show to the all-star race.
