The original problem was the wipers would only work on high speed, So I purchased a new one. I plugged it in and it wont turn off. I figure it may just be bad, but wanted to see if anyone had any more ideas. Thanks

  1. Your Ranger has a GEM (Generic Electronic Module) located behind the radio. Several accessories are wired through this module and if it goes bad it can feel as if a ghost has taken over your vehicle. Have it checked with proper diagnostic equipment to be sure.

    Hope this helps.
