On a Apple Ipod how can you reformat it to delete all songs and video and start from nothing?

I had this same problem.

Your best bet is to call Apple in California and ask.

You have to reset the Ipod.

I didnt have it registered so i had to go to my computer and click the ipod section and then install a new version.

I hated this problem.

i Know how you feel.

Call Apple they will probably send you an email with the correct way to do it.

Just go through the different folders such as Music and Videos and click Ctrl + a. This will highlight every song/video. Then right click and press delete. Just go through all of your folders and delete everything. Good luck!
