This is earth day and cities are blacking out for an hour. Google has changed it's color scheme from white to black.

On a CRT screen, though the energy difference would be small, would it take more energy to make the screen black or the screen white?

  1. black uses less energy

  2. more energy to make it white.  the electrons fired usually make up red green and blue to make white, however to make black the electrons are just at a different frequencey so noo need for mixing electrons.
