On a SeaRay 290 AJ ...my port gauge won't read. It is flashing "lost engine communucations" what should I do?

at your Port battery there are 2 wires connected to the cables. On the red one there is an in line fuse for the clean power. Check it and replace if necesary. On the top of the motor is a little red button  check to see if it is tripped . there will be a little white leg sticking out . push it back in to reset it. Those should take care of it
