On bike-paths, are the markers that tell you from a point to point the distances, are those really accurate or are they just estimates?

  1. The ones I've ridden on seem to be accurate, but it really depends on the trail and who marked it.  Make sure your bike computer is accurate and judge for yourself.

  2. The markers on both MTB and paved paths are very accurate on the trails in my area. They match my computer well. But I can't say if they are on the trails you ride.
