On a college campus what exactly is a semi-private bath?

I'm looking to visit some campuses, and campus life is a big factor in which school I choose, but no websites give a clear definition of semi private baths? Can someone help me out, I would really appreciate it.

It usually means that there is a suite- 2 different dorm rooms, with 2 people living in each room, and that the bathroom is shared between the 4 people in those 2 rooms.

This is opposed to the ones that an entire floor share (which can be real nasty after a Friday and Saturday night out drinking).
