On a college resume, would colleges be interested if I am a member of charitable organizations?

I am a member of the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). Although I do not physically volunteer for the cause, I am a registered member and I do send money every month. Would colleges be interested in this, as well as other charitable causes, on my resume? Or should I not even bother adding it? (Regardless I will still remain a member, I am just curious if colleges were interested in this type of thing)

Forgotten friends is a small non-profit all-volunteer organization based out of Windham, Ohio. We are dedicated to the protection and placement of homeless, abandoned, abused and neglected dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and other animals. We provide a safe, secure, and healthy environment for a small number of animals waiting for a loving, caring adoptive home.
