  1. It is 21.  You will be able to legally drink while in port (off the ship) while in Mexico but you cannot bring liquor or beer back on board.

  2. just drink!

  3. It goes by the laws of the originating country.

  4. You didn't mention what cruise line you'd be on. Carnivals FAQ page (under age restrictions) says "Guest must be 21 years of age or older to be served alcohol on board. Proper I.D. with birth date is required."

Celebrity's FAQ for age restrictions says "Effective as of all sailings commencing on or after July 28, 2006, the minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages on all Celebrity Cruises is 21"  however their 2007 Europe destinations book says that ships in Europe, S.America, and Australial a parent sailing with an underage child who is at least 18 can sign a waiver allowing the child to consume alcoholic beverages. There is a waiver form on Celebrity's website.

Other cruise lines, you'll just have to check their policy.

  5. Depends on the rotation of the propeller.

  6. 21 yrs for all t he cruises. I work as a purser for Carnival.

  7. The drinking age is 21 on all of the cruise lines.

  8. i believe it is determined by who owns the land or water the ship is in at the time.  while on u.s. land or water it's 21, when you get to mexico land/water it will be 18.
