On a date, and i need to get from dinner to a ballet, all within 4 blocks?

alright, so here is the question that i am having. i currently live in salt lake city, and am taking a girl out on the town tomorrow. we are going to a dinner at nice restaurant and afterwards we are going to a ballet that is 4 city blocks away. Traffic is horrible as well as finding a place to park. is there any way to get 4 city blocks without driving or taking mass transit? thanks for any advice given.

Ask her if she minds walking.

If it is in SLC, hire one of the carriage companies to come pick you up.  It would be a fun time, and would really impress the girl. I think the company below will also bring a carriage to other cities, but that would probalby cost a lot.

Four blocks is walking distance, should take no more than 20 minutes and is far more romantic than driving.

walking is always nice, and it is only 4 blocks.....or taxi, depends on evening, weather, girl, you, dinner, time......
