Something you can share with your date!!!!  Unless, of course, the date is going poorly and you can't wait to get home, then by all means have the hot apple pie ala mode or chocolate layer cake!  Getting a creme brulee or crisp that can be shared is a wonderfully sensual ending to a meal.  Enjoy!

Something you can split, that isn't too big, like a nice piece of cake. Not anything too heavy (cheesecake) or too messy (caramel). Always a bonus if there is chocolate or something that you can pick up without getting dirty ie strawberries.
