  1. shoe

  2. Foot or  I use a piece of napkin so I dont have any contact with the handle.

  3. most the time my foot but i have used my hand a few times...

there is soap and water just out side that stall..

Just make sure to grab an extra towel or napkin when using the big door to reenter the world... some dont wash hands!

  4. I use my foot 90% of the time.  If I'm wearing heels I use my hand but put use fresh toilet paper on my hand so I don't have to touch the grossness.

  5. Home = hand

Public = Toilet paper between my hand and the flusher if it looks like a normal toilet like the one you have at home.  Foot if it is one of those normal public toilets with the long silver rod you push down.  Toilet paper between my hand and the little flush button if the automatic toilet doesn't work.

Can you believe I read a question a while ago about someone who actually said they use their foot to flush their toilet at home?  Gross!

  6. always my shoe idk where that thing has been

  7. Why is everyone so neurotic about flush handles and door catches?  You won't suffer from a massive bacterial infection from shutting a door or flushing the bowl with the hand, especially if you wash afterwards, which I'd hope you do even if you decide to press the handle with a gumboot (don't bother with toilet paper.  The gaps between its fibres are far too wide to stop bacteria getting through.  That's why we need to wash our hands afterwards even though most of us clean ourselves with toilet paper so they don't actually look dirty).

What you really ought to worry about is the jet stream of bacteria that flies upwards out of the bowl as soon as you do flush it.  And don't think putting the lid down first helps - it just forces the airborne bacteria out with even more pressure so they go further.

The safest way is to wear a surgical mask (even at home) and USE YOUR HAND, because it's easier to wash your hands than your shoes - and the shoes will certainly need washing if you wipe them on the floor afterwards!

  8. In public places i will use my foot. in someone's home or at home....i will use my hand

  9. Well If you are at home I would recomend you first flush, then wash your hands immediatly after you flush. And if you are at a public restroom, use your shoe. Then wipe it off outside.

  10. I assume you're talking about in a public restroom. I grab a wad of tissue and use it in my hand to flush. I wouldn't use my foot because you know what floors are like in public restrooms and many people don't think twice about grabbing the handle with their hand, especially little kids.
