On a motocross bike, the FRONT brake supplies about what percent of the potential stopping power?

would the potential stopping power that the front brake supplies on a motocross bike be: about 0-10%, about 25-35%, about 65-75%, or 100%? Really need this answer soon for a contest. Thanks.

  3. I would have to put it around 50. So out of your groups I would have to pick 65-75.

  4. depends on how hard you squeeze it - but it is more of a "feel" thing, and that depends on the slope on which you sitm, and also the speed you are going. It is not just 50/50- although that is a safe place to start...

  5. On a motorcross bike, sitting up higher gives you a greater potential for flying over the handlebars, than on a road bike. So the front brakes aren't quite as powerfull, but the front brake still carries most of the load.
