I've never really been big on public transportation, so when I was checking times for when the bus will be at the stops, it says times for inbound and outbound, what is the difference between the two?

  1. Inbound is when it is heading towards the terminal and outbound is heading away.  Many buses stop at the same place twice on a trip (ie a mall or major employer).  once on the way out then on the return trip towards the terminal.

  2. Inbound means it is going to the bus station and outbound means it is going away.

  3. Inbound means it's going into the city and outbound means it's going out from the city.

  4. Usually the bus heading INTO the city (or downtown) area would be called inbound (and vice versa)

Within the city they would NOT use those words.

    Good Luck...

  5. Inbound is going towards your destination, outbound is going away from your destination.

    Hope this helps.
