  1. People aren't offering you a job for self-improvement.   Schools are awfully leery of candidates whose main motive is to accrue teaching experience so they can move on to greener pastures.  Telling them that you want to milk them of the opportunity for experience and training isn't going to fly.

Your objective, in more concrete terms is to secure a teaching position and to benefit children, not yourself.

    Rewrite to that effect.

  2. Is this for a teaching job?  In college I have always been told that you do not need to put an objective on your resume, it's obvious you want to be a teacher, you have your teaching license!  I majored in special ed and early childhood, so I created like a professional statement that I included in my cover letter... something like this

"I want to use my training in special education in the regular classroom to provide intervention for at-risk students and students on IEP's in the regular classroom.  My education has thoroughly prepared me for education of typical students and students with special needs."

  3. This is too vague.  Be more specific for the job that you are trying to obtain.  "To obtain a teaching position in an elementary setting" would suffice.  Actually, I took the objective off of my resume - I incorporated the statement into my cover letter.

  4. sounds good to me!
