On a scale 1-10 how much does it hurt to get your belly button pierced?

i will be honest with you mine didn't hurt at all i never felt the lady piercing my skin and i never felt the curved bar bell going through my skin and putting the balls on 10-15 mins your done. some people pain tolerance is a little different then other people's some say it hurts a lot, some say it hurts a little and some say it don't hurt at all it just depends. some get red, soreness, after pain like period cramps and bleed and then again some don't it just depends on your body.

when i got mine done i never got red, no after pain, no soreness no nothing it just felt like someone was l*****g my navel it felt really weird at first but you get used to it. its almost going on 2 yrs since i had it done!

all piercings hurt no matter what you get some hurts a little more then others but thats the price you pay!

Not nearly as much as you might think! In fact, the actual piercing is so brief that the worst part is the preceding mental anxiety and fear. And, no matter how the piercing felt, almost everyone who gets pierced can't help but laugh or smile when it's over. Don't get me wrong, piercing is not a painless experience--but pain is completely relative to the individual and the pain incurred during a piercing is nothing that the average person can't handle. Remember: the piercing process only lasts a split second, while the new addition to your body can be enjoyed as long as you like.

they do. Some more than others. Some people are more or less sensitive than others, so there is no way to really say how bad a piercing is going to feel to you. But, the point is this - could you handle a really bad pain for 30 seconds? Well, most piercings last even less time than that, and most piercings are not that bad. Yes, they hurt. But it's over so fast, you really don't have much time to think about it. Some will bring a tear to your eye, but I've never heard anyone screaming bloody murder from the next room. Honestly, if you're really that scared of the pain, you probably shouldn't get the piercing.

The first time it stung bad and I got sick (vomitted) afterwards; I'd give it an 8.  After a year it migrated and I got it done a year later and it didn't hurt at all; I'd give the 2nd time a 2.

I had a shot of anesthesia injected to my belly which didn't really hurt (3/10) and after that I didn't feel a thing.
