I've gotten mine waxed professionally once and I've done it myself a couple times, too.

I'd say in general, it's about a 5. It's not horrible, but it's not exactly enjoyable either. Good thing is that it's really quick. Once they pull the wax off, it's done. Your lip will feel a little tingly afterwords, but it won't ache for hours on end. The only real pain lasts about 2 seconds.

Although the first time you get it done it might hurt a little more cause you don't know what to expect.

Doing it at home hurts more than getting it done professionaly.

I would pay those few extra bucks gettting it done professionally.

On a scale of 1-10, maybe 6 the first time.

But then like a 4 the times after that.

Its not bad.

I went to my waxer and she said a 7 year old comes to get her eyebrow and upper lip done!
