I am thinking of buying a small engine like a 35cc stand up gas scooter. But Iam kind of skeptical about the tire size and rim type. For better performance, accelaration and top end spend is in better to have 16in spoked rims with a 2.5 in wide tire or have a 13.3 inch solid rim with 3 in wide tires? Does anyone have any segestions on which of the two rims and tires would be for better top end speed, accelaration and performance?

  1. spoked mate, solid is too heavy and you dont need that much strength

  2. It's a scooter, are you seriously asking about performance? That just struck me as funny but anyways the 16 inch wheels would make you accelerate faster and have a higher top speed but even that change will only change a mile an hour or two.
